I bought my dream camera in 2014 - a full frame Nikon D750. No natural or supernatural forces could make me think I'd look at APS-C ever again. After two years I bought my dream camera again in 2016 - a crop sensor Nikon D500. Here is why:

I also wanted FF camera for a long time (Pentax one), mainly cause of the lack of good and not very expensive standard angle lenses. Pentax has 31 mm but very expensive, or 40 and 43 mm which are too narrow for everyday lens for me. Other way is 21mm which is to wide. Zooms were also not attractive.
But now they have 20-40limited and 16-85, both weather resisted. I bought 20-40 (+ small primes 15 & 70 mm) and remained with aps-c camera, also weather resisted, and lightweight and small – Pentax KP. So now I’ve lost my wish to have FF camera :).

Thank you for your comments Sergey. I will try to translate this post into English. Overall – D500 is a real beast. I have no regrets buying that. It is my workhorse for sports photography.
